So it’s a no-brainer that sun-bronzed professional surfer Keala Kennelly has one of the tautest little boogie-board bods ever captured on camera. Raised in a hippie family on Kauai, Keala was a tomboy known for getting into fistfights with girls and guys at school—and always winning. She channeled her scrappiness into surfing, and it wasn’t long before she was winning championships and setting records—in 2005 at Teahupoo, she captured the women’s record for riding the biggest tow in a wave. Surf’s up . . . way up! She appeared as herself in the sandy-seductresses-on-surfboards flick Blue Crush (2002) alongside fellow towheaded babe Kate Bosworth, and then in 2007 she took a break from surfing to costar as Kai in the HBO drama John from Cincinnati.
